SCRT Board Approves New Benefits at November Meeting

The SCRT Board of Directors held their annual fall board meeting in Atlanta, GA on November 5, 2010.  Two new benefits for SCRT members were approved.

The board accepted a two-part offer from the Hydro Lab Training and Research Center in Cicero, IN.

First, beginning January 1, 2011 all new or renewing SCRT members will receive a $300.00 coupon towards one of four different advanced drying classes to be held at the Hydro Lab Center.  This offer will enable any member of the SCRT to recover all their membership fees by just taking one class.  Coupons will be mailed to members upon renewal.

Second, the Hydro Lab Center is offering up to $40,000 in scholarships exclusively to SCRT members beginning January 1, 2011.  With this program in place, the value of scholarship opportunities available to SCRT members far exceeds the cost of membership.

Details will be posted soon on the SCRT website www.Scrt.org or for further information, contact Rachel Adams, SCRT board member, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.  Another benefit approved for SCRT regular members is an offer for owners with multiple physical locations operating under the same ownership to have other physical locations listed on the SCRT website as members for an administrative fee of only $50.00.
