GA Chapter Meeting Review
Apex Disaster Management hosted the Georgia Chapter Meeting Wednesday, August 22nd. Jim Clarke, GA Chapter President, had this to say...
The event featured strong group of speakers and was well received by our 28 attendees. Gregg Sargent flew in from Utah to be with us and gave an entertaining and informative class on ways to improve revenue by closing more calls. Nick Sharpe of Reets Academy was actually able to make a talk on exactimate interesting and Gordy Powell gave us a status report on his efforts to bring licensing requirements to forensic remediation. As an added feature Bill Gionone and I gave a report on our meeting with the Director and Assistant Director of Consumer Services at the Insurance Commissioner’s office.
We owe a special thanks to Rachael Harper of Aramsco who was instrumental in making this meeting a success. She recommended our featured speaker, brought in Contec and Honeywell as additional sponsors and actively promoted the meeting with her customers.
We also announced our next meeting to be held the third week in November."
