The Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians (SCRT) announces the approval of a new Chapter start-up to be called “Gulf Coast Chapter”.  This chapter will be sponsored by the Cleaning Supply Network in Pensacola, FL and the Chapter President will be Jonathan Owens. Over 40 cleaning and restoration professionals attended the annual membership meeting of the Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians (SCRT) on Thursday, April 14, 2011 during the Connections Convention in Clearwater, FL. The following board members were re-elected for 2011-2012 by the Membership:

Following the membership meeting, a reception was held for members in attendance. Drawings were held daily at the SCRT booth for prizes awarded to SCRT members present at Connections. A total of $450.00 in cash, 2 Windsor vacuums, an oriental rug donated by Shaw Industries and an AMRT class donated by Rachel Adams were given away.

The bi-annual meeting of the SCRT Board of Directors took place on April 17, 2011 in Clearwater, FL following the Connections Convention. Increased scholarship benefits for SCRT members were approved by the board.
