IICRC S800 Standard Available for Limited Public Review 

LAS VEGAS - [April 21, 2023] - The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has opened a second limited public review for the revised draft IICRC S800 Standard for Professional Inspection of Textile Floorcoverings. Download the substantive changes made to the draft Standard since the first public review in January 2023, and submit your comments online from April 21 to May 21, 2023 here: https://iicrc.org/s800/

As part of the ANSI 30-day public review period all comments must be submitted using the online comment form no later than May 21, 2023. 

The S800 establishes a procedural standard and reference guide for professionally inspecting textile floor coverings. The standard defines basic operational procedures and techniques for inspecting/evaluating: carpet types, characteristics, and conditions; specification; installation procedures; and post-installation maintenance and cleaning
